If you want to encourage your baby’s physical development, boost their confidence and offer a stimulating new environment, check out your local Gymbabes classes. They are tailor-made for babies from six months who are just discovering their own bodies and all the wonderful things they can do with them.
The Gymbabe programme is for babies who are 6 months up to walking well. It is a class where parents participate and work closely with their child in a safe environment filled with challenges for the developing baby. Gymbabes helps babies to develop the skills needed to sit, crawl, stand and eventually walk with confidence.
Babies learn to get over and around objects, explore the concept of steps, slopes and bridges and experience the sensations of rolling and sliding.
As the parent works closely with their child their relationship with their baby is developed along with the babies trust in his/her own body – the first stage on the journey to independence.
The 40 minute class also includes baby massage and body recognition songs and rhymes.
For 6 months to walking well. Classes start at 9.40am on Mondays. Classes are also available at St Philips and St James’ Church Hall, Odd Down, Bath on Wednesdays.
The Bath Tumble Tots team look forward to seeing you for a free trial session. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions, information and a short video can be found on my website and on Facebook under Tumble Tots Bath Area.
