Commonly known as the best week of the summer holidays, the children are instantly engaged with casting, rehearsing and finally performing the songs, dances and drama that they have learned throughout the week. The children work and play hard each day, learning new skills, developing existing ones, whilst strengthening and creating friendships. It is open to all children whether they attend Curtain Up at the weekend or not.
Summer school scripts are written specifically for Curtain Up – last year The Canterbury Tales was re-written and brought them to life in our modern world complete with songs and dances. This year’s story is a surprise – but will be lots of fun!
