The end of term celebration was full of cheer and joy, but also tinged with a little sadness as the school said a few farewells.
The event is an opportunity to appreciate all the wonderful achievements of the year and thank the staff, the governors, parents, and of course, the children for all their efforts to make The Paragon the successful place it is today. Held at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows at Prior Park College, each year group celebrated the end of their year with a performance. From the Nursery singing 'We're Strong Ants' all the way up the school to the Year 6 pupils with their Paragon School Rap, it was a delight. The musical treats from the Wind Band, Orchestra and the choirs were fantastic. It will be a long time before we forget all the mums and dads joining in with the Junior and Senior Choirs in a rendition of 'We Go Together'.

The main stars of the show are the Year 6 pupils, boys and girls that have grown and developed during their time at the school and are now ready for the challenge of senior school. Ms Bryony Huntley, Governor and Chair of The Paragon Advisory Committee presented them with their prizes.

This end of term saw the retirement of two, wonderful, loyal members of staff, Mrs Carolyn Allen and Mrs Hazel Hosford. They have inspired countless children over their 24 years (each) at The Paragon and it is with good heart that we wish them well as they embark on a new stage of their lives. The Headmaster thanked them both for all that they have done.
It was also time for us to say goodbye to the Headmaster, Titus Mills, and his family. David Barratt, Deputy Head; Commodore Chris York, Chair of the Governors; and Jill Blane, Chair of the PTA all spoke today to express their thanks, admiration and appreciation of his outstanding contributions to the school.
Titus has led the school through much change. His dynamic, creative and inspiring style has made such an impact. The school is successful, a place where happy children learn and grow.
Andrew Harvey, current Deputy Head at Lambrook Prep School in Ascot, takes up the post of Head at The Paragon in September. He, his wife Anna and daughters, Imogen and Sophie, are moving to Bath this summer.
