The activities for the day included learning how to build a shelter, light a fire, using various different techniques, and to put the fire to good use by baking bread.
Head of Year 9 at King Edward’s School, Mr Jon Kean, commented: "This is a really good way for everyone to get to know one another, have some fun and learn some really useful survival skills. Our thanks go to Hidden Woods who have put together an excellent course and taught all of us, staff and pupils, some excellent bush craft skills."
