For 12 glorious summer days Bath’s stunning venues will be brimming with music. Running from 30th May – 10th June, Joanna MacGregor’s seventh and final Bath International Music Festival is an inspiring mix of new commissions and imaginative productions, established artists and rising stars.
Encounter stunning jazz, classical, contemporary and folk music. We bring world-class performers to your doorstep, from piano trios to chamber choirs, folk singers to jazz virtuosos, and poets to eminent composers. Be awed by magical opera (Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade and Mozart’s The Magic Flute). Hear mesmerising folk from Julie Fowlis and Bella Hardy. The Diamond Jubilee is marked by two wonderful concerts: Bath Philharmonia perform a feast of great British orchestral music, including Holst’s The Planets at The Forum, and I Fagiolini give a heart-stopping performance of Striggio’s Mass in 40 parts. Witness Jazz legend Stan Tracey and infectious funk magician Courtney Pine. Get involved in half term family fun and much more.
