Children with adrenal / unusual endocrine issues

Hi

I am wondering if there are any other parents of children with adrenal issues or other unusual endocrine disorders in Bath and surrounding areas, who might fancy meeting for a coffee and a chat occasionally?

My son is 2.5 yrs old and has adrenal hypoplasia. This means that he doesn't make any cortisol/stress hormone. However, he is normal in every other way. His condition is genetic and very rare and with it not being a 'disability' it is not really covered by existing support groups. Whilst the medical professionals and friends are always very supportive, it would be good to meet or build a group of other parents who are in similar situations who can really relate to each other, share developments and information, support each other through the rougher patches and of course relax and have some fun together (with or without kiddies in tow - whichever people prefer!).
